So the other day, in another thread, I posted this:
I told her an inukshuk with moss on it with flowery vines growing up it could be a really cool tattoo but she's a cunt and ignored me.My little cousin is getting a fucking DREAM CATCHER on her shoulder next week. She's getting it in the colours of the fucking MEDICINE WHEEL; red, white, black and yellow. Her next tattoo, she says, is going to be an inukshuk. She doesn't have the first clue as to the meanings of any of these things in First Nations culture, she just thinks they look cool. This is Canada's version of "tribal". *eyerolls*
But her getting a tattoo made me think about what I'd get next. I've always wanted my signature sun (think a stick person sun with an "x" in the middle: 1/2) in the spot between my right thumb and index finger, exactly where a pen would rest if I were writing, but I'm told that would be a bad place to tattoo because the skin there wears down faster or something, so instead, I think I would get it on my wrist (underside). Getting a tattoo on my wrist would be a massive deal for me because I have a hard time dealing with veins. What I can't decide though, is if I should just do it in black or in colour. If I'm to do it in colour, I would want the colours of my site, pink and light aqua. So really, I suppose I should do it in colour and then later if I don't like it or it fades, I could go over it in black right?
I'm not totally sold on my inner wrist, but I want it somewhere I can see it and NOT on my back (I already have a tattoo there that I think is flawless and I wouldn't wanna "much up the canvas" by adding something else).
So where do you guys think would be a good place to get it? And what tattoos do you want in the future?

What I can't decide though, is if I should just do it in black or in colour. If I'm to do it in colour, I would want the colours of my site,

Think something along the lines of the rabbit hole next to a garden.
The idea of turning birthmarks into beautiful pieces of work sounds really awesome.
