Just because it's cleared your bank, doesn't mean our bank knows this yet. You won't wait longer than 10 days for this, and your subscription won't start until your account is actually active.

There's a very good chance that your ISP is blocking mail for us because they think it's spam. Some spam filters will filter out any email with "whores" or "webcam" in it. Try disabling any "adult" or "spam" filters, check your "Spam" or "Junk Mail" folders for our reply, or try sending us a message from another email account, like Hotmail.

I changed my mind and am not interested in the site anymore, why don't you offer refunds?

Because of the nature of this business, we lose money on your first month's subscrption. 50% of your first month's price goes to the site that referred you to us. The credit card companies and billing company take another 15%. We also have to pay for content, even if you've only logged in to camwhores once. This just scratches the surface of our expenses, not even considering things like bandwidth, servers, taxes, etc. Needless to say we don't have anywhere near the amount you paid by the time all these other companies have taken their fees out. These are all nonrefundable - it's not like a store where you can return something and they can sell it again.

Since refunds are so expensive, we decided giving people a demo or trial would be best to make sure people knew exactly what our site was about before signing up. Many sites offer very short trials for $5 or more. We offer EVERYONE a completely free trial for as long as you want. We give everyone a demo of nearly all of our features before signing up. What do you mean by "live cams"? How is Camwhores different from most webcam/amateur sites?

Camwhores is different than most webcam sites. Everything you see on our main page is happening right then and there. We don't recycle pics/video or show old content (except when you choose to, by viewing the histories of the cams). Every picture or video stream that you see appear on the main page is being uploaded exactly as it's happening. Our system updates with a new image every 10 to 15 seconds, and live when someone is broadcasting video.

When we say someone is "live" they really are. In most cases you can chat with the performer on the tagboard while they're taking pics. Many webcam sites out there keep replaying the same old pictures or video over and over again under the guise that it's really happening. That's not what you'll find here.
