• You need to be able to speak English fluently, both by keyboard and by microphone.

How does the site work?

• Every cammer on the site has their own section, containing images and video shows they've done.
• The front page of the site shows the most recently uploaded pictures, any live video shows happening, as well as our live text chat.
• Everything happens in the open, there is no private chat or private video shows.
• At any time, you can upload new pictures of yourself. Some cammers here have archives of tens of thousands of pictures.
• Once a week, each cammer can do a live video show. Shows that meet our requirements for length and content are paid up to $65. The top 3 cammers can do shows twice a week.
• You can hang out and chat on our live tagboard or discussion forum 24/7.
• Each cam also has a tip jar where anyone can send you tips by credit card.

Can I start right away?

• If your application is accepted, new cams are considered "on trial" for a period.
• While on trial, you can't do video shows, collect tips or earn money. All other features are accessible to you right away.
• After you've spent time on the site, chatted with everyone, uploaded a selection of pictures of yourself, and watched other shows to see how they work, you'll be promoted to a full account.

How can I earn money?

• Again, if you're webcamming to earn money you can earn money faster on other sites. Camwhores is more about having a good time than it is a commercial site. • If you refer a customer to Camwhores, you earn half of their first month's membership fee.
• You also earn small amounts of money for chatting on our site, uploading pictures, talking in our forum, etc.
• While nudity is not required to be on the site, your earnings from doing shows will be extremely limited.
• If you live in North America, we send paper checks (in US Dollars) out 5 days a week.
• If you live outside North America, we do wire transfers twice a month. A wire transfer fee is deducted from each payment.
• We do not pay by PayPal, ePassporte or other payment systems.
